Organic wholemeal spelt flour

Unlike other varieties of wheat, spelt grains are covered with a ringlet that naturally protects the grain from diseases and pests, and therefore does not require the pesticides used in common wheat to protect it.

Spelt is resistant to environmental pollution. This cereal is rarely grown industrially, as the yields are similar between fertilised and unfertilised fields, and it is a wild cereal crop.
