Organic chicory coffee, roasted, finely ground
Chicory coffee, a decaffeinated beverage made from roasted chicory roots, offers a great alternative to traditional coffee. Famous for its rich, earthy flavour, chicory coffee is often used as a decaffeinated coffee substitute.
Its mild bitterness and aromatic qualities make it a versatile ingredient in both hot and cold drinks, which can be mixed with traditional coffee or served alone. Chicory can also be used to flavour desserts. It has a natural bitterness.
Usage:
Pour boiling water over one full teaspoon of coffee. Leave to mature for 5-10 minutes. You can add a vegetable drink, your favourite sweetener to taste. For a stronger brew, it is recommended to boil the coffee for about 2-3 minutes.
